The British organization founded in 2016, Ionic recruited the French Counter-Strike team “MeMyself & I” just before the Esports European League. Ionic is a mix of young players, others with a certain background without ever really reaching the top national level and a player who has played at the best level in the world.
The star player of the squad is Joey “fxy0” Schlosser, former player of the Epsilon eSports team with whom he reached the quarter-finals of a major CS: GO, in other words one of the biggest competitions in Counter Strike history. With his sniper, Joey is able to make the difference at any time and will be the great danger of this Ionic team.
Ionic also has two players with some experience on the French scene with Mathieu “LaAw” Plantin and the Belgian David “davidp” Prins. These two players balance the formation, LaAw being a rather calm player when davidp can bring a little madness.
Then, the duo Charles “CREA” Beauvois and Lucas “Lucky” Chastang play together since their debut and have the same course or almost on CS: GO. They made themselves known at Doge Esport before sailing from project to project and arriving today at Ionic.
Ionic remains a team capable of surprising many opponents, but remains a very young formation that will have much to do against one of the big fish of the competition, ARES.
